Timber Decks and Screens

A timber decking to a property is a great feature, the decking can be made from many materials, the most common is Jarrah or Merbau. Then they come in different widths, Merbau widths are generally 70mm, 90mm and 140mm wide. Jarrah is generally used in the 65mm or 85mm wide. Treated pine decks are a lighter version of timber and also cheaper as it is soft wood.

We can arrange construction of a complex engineering decking and pergola or a simple small decking or screen. If building permits are required, we can obtain them as we are a registered domestic building practitioner.

Many items need to be considered when choosing a decking material, Type of timber, Jarrah, Merbau, Treated pine, Cypress, etc. Width of the timber, which direction you want the decking timber to go, the size of the gaps between the timber decking and if the timber is to be coated clear or with a stain or not at all.
